Meeting the Bootcamp Coordinator
The moment the stream kicked off, we were greeted with enthusiasm by our incredible boot camp coordinator, Dani Passos! She gave us a warm welcome and presented a captivating overview of the boot camp.
Exploring GraphQL APIs with Jamie
The day's second session focused on GraphQL, with Jamie skillfully explaining the concept of GraphQL APIs and their distinction from REST. He guided us through the advantages of GraphQL, as well as the fundamental aspects of query mutations and subscriptions.
Establishing Connections through Open Source
Rafael Hernandez gave this super cool talk, sharing his own story and his friend's, about how making connections is super important and how open source is a rad way to do it. He even gave us some tips on how to start contributing as a newbie and build connections.
Exploring AI Capabilities of Hashnode
Another excellent presentation was given by Rajat Kapoor. He detailed the development journey of Hashnode AI and demonstrated some impressive features it offers. Additionally, he explained how Hashnode AI stands out and assists in crafting exceptional blog content.
Becoming a Better Developer
This was an outstanding talk given by Sabrina Aquino. She emphasized the importance of learning technologies in depth, rather than just superficially. Additionally, she mentioned some facts about the current job market, highlighting how the skills required for specific positions are increasing significantly.
