Hey there! So, Hashnode Bootcamp 2023 just wrapped up today, and wow, it was full of amazing insights! Let me give you a quick rundown of today's events and share some of my favorite takeaways from the whole experience. 😊

Growing Your Online Presence
Indeed, it was an incredible talk by Yuri Santana, guiding us on how to leverage social media to build our personal brand. She covered everything from getting started to growing our presence and approaching creators effectively. Sounds great, right? So, let's discuss each topic briefly.
How to Start? 🚀
Find a Niche 🎯
Yuri emphasized the importance of finding a topic you are passionate about and eager to create content for.
Which Platform? 🤔
This is a common question that many of us have encountered: which platform should we choose when starting out as content creators? Yuri recommended selecting a platform where you have control over your content, can easily gain visibility, and find it simple to create and edit what you post.
Do Numbers Matter? 📊
The answer to this is a resounding no! Yuri advised that we should use these numbers to track our growth, gain insights, and improve our content.
Tips for Growing 📈
Consistency 🔄
Throughout the boot camp, many speakers emphasized this point, and indeed, consistency is the key to success. We must post daily, but with a purpose. Use relevant hashtags and, finally, optimize your social media profile.
Honesty 💯
Yuri shared how important it is to be honest; she encouraged us to share both our wins and fails.
Connection 🤝
We must engage with the community, follow relevant accounts, include visuals in our posts, as these all contribute to building connections. Indeed, connections serve as gateways to opportunities.
How to approach other Creators? 💌
This point is crucial in building connections. Instead of merely sending a "hello," provide a brief message outlining your intentions. It's wise to reach out to them on platforms where they are frequently active.
Knowing Leap AI
The second session of the day involved Alex explaining to us what Leap AI 🤖 is and how we can integrate it into our projects.
Essentially, Leap AI assists us in building powerful AI workflows. At Leap AI, Alex and his team have integrated numerous generative AI models from various sources, such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and many more, all in one place. We can run these models in our app with just a single API call, which sounds fantastic, doesn't it?
He concluded the session by discussing the new feature they are working on, which will allow for easy chaining of various models, and it is expected to be released by the weekend.
How to Sell Yourself as a Developer
We were so happy to see Sam once again as a speaker. In this session, Sam discussed about how from the very beginning we can market ourselves as a developer. Here are some amazing highlights of the session:

The first step is to sit down and decide what you want to be known for. Do you want to be recognized as a developer, an artist, or something else? In addition to this, set short-term and long-term goals.
Why Personal Branding Matters? 🌟
You are creating a legacy from which others can learn. Besides this, you become more likely to attract better opportunities, gain the trust of others in the community, and enjoy a competitive advantage, all of which contribute to your career growth.
How to Showcase your Skills? 🏆
The best way to showcase your skills is by building new projects. Share your progress publicly, discussing how you came up with the idea and how you implemented it. Finally, document your journey by summarizing each step in a blog or a video.
Sam concluded by sharing his journey of joining Hashnode. He explained that he began writing blogs on Hashnode in 2020 and eventually became a core writer for the platform. Simultaneously, he participated in various hackathons and built amazing projects, which ultimately caught Hashnode's attention.

This was an amazing session from Chris guiding us on how we can use Knock to easily send notifications. Here are the steps to use Knock:

Now once we are ready, we integrate Knock with our backend.

Knock will now deliver notifications on your behalf.
